STATS by SlopeTracker will be available for purchase by skiers and snowboarders for the 2007-2008 ski season.

The original SlopeTracker MAP product continues to be available for rent at major ski areas around the world. STATS by SlopeTracker is a retail system available for sale to individuals at ski rental and sporting goods stores.

“The great thing about STATS by SlopeTracker,” said SlopeTracker COO Ken Rivera “Is that it works at over 640 ski resorts around the world and is an enhancement to the original SlopeTracker Map service. Via our website, you are provided your daily and yearly snowriding statistics to use and share with your friends and family. The online StatsTracker does not provide the sought after SlopeTracker poster that is exclusive to our destination resorts such as: Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, Telluride, Sunshine Village in Banff, The Yellowstone Club, or Hafjell in Norway, but it will provide you with the same details and allow you to track your entire ski season.”

The pager size device is worn on an armband while the snowrider is on the mountain. It automatically tracks the skier’s position throughout the ski day. After the ski day, the user simply plugs the device into a PC and uploads the data to the SlopeTracker website (www.slopetracker.com). The website then displays the statistics of the skier’s on-mountain experience.

Through the use of cutting-edge Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, STATS by SlopeTracker™ gives snowriders the ability to improve and excel in their sport by providing a self-diagnostic tool which tracks:

  • Top Speed
  • Distance Traveled
  • Vertical Feet
  • Calories Burned
  • Difficulty of Runs Ridden
  • Relative Skill Level
  • Total Runs
  • Run Details
  • Season Totals
  • Comparison to Other Users

Users will be able to view a history of every ski day they have used the system. The online system includes numerous reports and features that allow users to monitor their improvement and compare themselves to other users around the world.

Stats by SlopeTracker™ - Retail product allows retailers to offer the SlopeTrackerTM system at Point-of-Sale.
